KeepMeSafe is a free women's safety app that uses voice recognition to detect the word "help," triggers a loud alarm to deter the perpetrator, and uses geopositioning to send the user's location to 9-1-1. It won the Congressional App Challenge, has been featured on 20+ ABC News Stations, and reached 2,600 downloads on the App Store.
